Since the 3.0 version of Chargin' Chucks are published in 1.4,4 era, though it can still works in 1.4.5, but it's still a little outdated with the standards today. So I remade them all from scratch and used some codes from the piror 3.0 ones, that we have --- - Changelog
- All Chucks:
They are vunlerable to fireball now, just take 5 hits to defeat like the original. They are vunlerable to iceball and tanooki tails now, you can just take 1 hit to defeat them. Most of their behaviour are customizable by editing servel numbers, but don't put it too little or too big if you want to avoid unncecessary bugs. Added Whlistin' Chuck, you can set what events or scripts would be called by them by editing its script. Chargin' Chuck:
You can set which block can be destroyed by them, just name the block "CCDestroy" or dig through the scripts to add your blocks When they are in air, their speed won't lost anymore, make it accurate to original SMW. Even in its patroling or stunned state, they can jump up to the wall just like the original SMW does. Clappin' Chuck:
It's behaviour is more accurate to the original now. You can set its jumping height now. Confused Chuck:
Baseball's spawn points are made more accurate. You can set how many baseballs it will throw in its normal state until next cricle by editing its name, default number is 2. When they are in the air, they would also make jumps, make it more faithful to original SMW. You can set its jumping height and projectile speed now. Passin' Chuck:
You can set the football's speed when it is kicked by the Chuck. The football's effect and sounds are now depends on itself, which is in the original SMW. Diggin' Chuck:
It's behaviour is more accurate to the original now. You can set how many rocks it would dig up in a circle by editing its name, default number is 3. Additionly, you can also set the rock's speed when they are dug up. Bouncin' Chuck:
It's behaviour is more accurate to the original now, for more, they will bouncing when player is close even it is in the mid-air state, and they would also make small hops when player is far from them when landed. You can set its bouncing height now. Splittin' Chuck:
It's behaviour is more accurate to the original now, such as the splitted chucks and itself wont messed up now. You can set how many chucks it will spawns by editing its name, default number is 2. Whistlin' Chuck:
There are 2 types: The one will only whistling when injured, and the one will whistling when player is near it. The latter can be set by editing its name to anything. Also provides an example of how script bond are works on Whistlin' Chuck. Chuck Related Objects:
Baseball:
Its graphic wont occupy the snifit's bullets now. Football:
When placed as a standalone NPC, it would not have any X speed, just like how SMW does. It will bounce in 3 random heights now, make it faithful to original SMW. Rock:
When placed as a standalone NPC, it would not have any X speed, just like how SMW does. It isn't used extend gfxs for its burying sprites now, it is now used Bitmap instead, make it more accurate to original. And for football and rocks, their behaviour on slopes can now be applyed on any angle slopes now.
Also, dont use Touchevents for Chucks! They are already used for jumping detection, if you used that would produce some problems.
