Where did you get your avatar and nickname from? Why exactly did you do so?

Avatar I made myself, it's like a Yoshi player from Super Mario 3D World and about the nickname, I don't know, but for some reason I like h2643 the most from everything other. Maybe because it's special?

Ah yes, my avatar. The story behind it is... quite sad, if you think about it.

I made my avatar myself in MS Paint. I based it on a character from a game called Knytt Stories. I love that game as much as i love the community on the forum for it. I originally intended the guy in it to be a character in a webcomic run by said forum.

Coincidentially, it happened when the forum community started to, well, "deteriorate". Fewer and fewer people posted on the forum, and some even left it entirely. Of course, this had its effects on the webcomic as well. Only 4 pages were ever drawn, with an interval of between a month or even an entire year between them. So my own character only got one appearance and never actually developed a personality at all.

Since then, i have used this avatar on everything. YouTube, Minecraft, 9Gag, TvTropes, et cetera. Not as a memento of the better times (although it does have a lot of sentimental value), but because i like it a lot and it's become sort of a "trademark" thing, with it being so unique and brightly colored and all that.

The origin of my name is something less interesting. I literally just picked two random words. Although i should note that i chose the "Flame" part because that word is associated with fire and at the time i really liked fire-type Pokémon and other kinds of fire-based magic in video games.

My avatar is Captain Swag, loyal defender of Minecraftia. He often travels with his sidekick, Enderman1996, the king of the Endermen.

I came up with the name because my friend's Minecraft username was Capt_Obvious101, and I owe him for showing me the game in the first place, so I named my character similar to his.

My avatar is what the poison mushroom in the version of Lost Levels in Super Mario Bros. Deluxe (the Game Boy Color port of SMB1) might have looked like if Nintendo had actually used the original Lost Levels graphics for Lost Levels instead of re-using SMB1's graphics.

As for my nickname, it's simply an alternate spelling of the DOS command "format c:" (which, by the way, is used to format the main hard drive, and thus should not be used unless re-installing Windows or something of the sort, so yeah...Windows newbies, don't use that command. ^_^')

Mine, well, the first Mario game I ever played back in the day was SMW, and of course what's one of the first SMW exclusive enemies you face? Rex of course! So, Rex has has always been a favourite of mine, probably my most favourite. Then after all this time, it seems to have stuck pretty well. I mean there's not many Rex usernames out there at all except for Xerx, Frozen Rex and Purple Rex/Aeon.

The name came about mainly because of Rex's main trait, he squishes down when he gets stomped. I guess that is the origins behind Squishy Rex.

Though also rather off-topic, but who else wants to see Rex return to a Mario platformer? I mean we've had the return of Chargin' Chuck, Urchin, Torpedo Ted and even the 3-Up Moon for god's sake... When will Rex return?

My nickname was... Ummm, I don't know, I remember I was very interested in meterology some time... and I think that's why I choose "sky" for my nickname (though I use "sky2" because in some forums "sky" is already registered).

Well, I don't remember if I added an avatar to this account, but my nickname is very curious: "hacheipe" is how "h.i.p" sounds in spanish. Why H.I.P? Because I'm part of the Hip-Hop culture, so my nickname shows one of my passions. I'm a lyric writer and beatmaker. Then the number is random.

The avatar and username of mine doesn't have a quite interesting story. First one, was randomly found on DeviantArt from a Deviant called LuigiBlood...it's Meta Knight (I assume?), in a hot desert.

Lakithunder...well, sick of my old username (thereturnofdoritosxD), I decided to choose a username. The first that came in my mind was Lakithunder, and so I choose that. I didn't know what exactly it was, so I searched, and turns out it's the name of a boss in NSMB. You can fight him in World 7.
Although, I ended up using it only on phpBBs or MyBBs.
