No what needs to happen is the variable editor needs to be used for level properties only and there needs to be a way of creating variable in script.
this is one of the worst things about 38A

this is hot garbage don't get me wrong I think smbx 38a is has great potential, but I think that the fact that 38a thinks trying to hurt people's feelings by implementing suggestions behind very hard minigames is fine because they accidently hurt his is feelings by posting suggestions they did not ...

I agree with this but it would have to be customizable or al least support gameover styles from smb1, smb2, sbm3, smw, sml2, and nsmb.

however it would be nice if you added smb3 slopes as an option.
they basically just effect the players running speed.

if this was added it would be nice but it would be better characters could be customized to the point of being from different games instead of just being reskins.

I do agree it looks cool but it would have to be an option because I want smb3 physics to be an option too and in smb3 you can't change your duck state while in the air.

I agree there should be backwards compatibility but having their exact behaviors from other games would aslo be nice.
it would provide the ability to recreate the original games or have your game use the original physics

I was thinking of a way to make projects more manageable and I came up with this.. - make folders a thing in the layer, events, scripts, and variable editors. when your in a folder you will only be able to see the folder name you are in and the items and folders in contains, allowing for a non clutt...

when your small mario and you run over the water turn around and stop on it, it crashes the level editor

it also seems that currents in water crash the level editor.

can the missing animation frames be added for all characters and powerups? these frames would include - smb3 kick frames - smb3 running frames - smb3 air throw frames - smb3 star jump frames - smb3 and smb2 hold frames (smb2 ones would be used for smb2 stuff) - smw fall frames - smw small mario duck...
