This is a step-by-step manual how to easily download and install Qt toolchain for Windows. Please remind that Qt is free and open-source software and you don't need for a paid license: the commercial license is required for a closed-source software.

Download installer

Unfortunately, an official site became tricky to find a download link. So, there are simple rules how to find it:

- Open qt.io - an official site of Qt project.

- Click the "Download. Try. Buy" button (no, you don't need to buy anything, just find a download link).

- Find the "Download for open source users" block:

- Scroll to the down of a page and find the "Download Qt Online installer" button:

- Click the "Download" button. Alternatively you can get an offline installer for your platform:

- After downloading of installer, run it.

Offline installer

Offline installer should don't ask you to login. It hasn't difference from an online installer except of a components list.

Notice Important note: If offlnie installer had to ask you to login, close it!

Then, temporarely disconnect an Internet and start installer again. Then hit "Next" and once you'll get the "Welcome to open-source", feel free to enable Internet back.
