I am trying to make a beach level but for some reason the water tiles don't overlay the course tiles except semi-solid platforms.
i put the Z-Layer option of the water tiles into foreground but when i play test it keeps behind the course tiles, and seeing the Boss Bass swimming trough the ground is very awkward, and a level with semisolid platforms only is very ugly.

Does somebody can tell me what i did wrong? or it's a bug and there's nothing i can do

Hello!

Unlike TheXTech and Moondust, SMBX2 doesn't support Z-Layer, it only very partially and inaccurately supports Z-offset, and is basically a mess (to be short, just "doesn't support"). To trick with Z-position, it's need to define here a BGO type config with defining the desired Z-value (as "priority" field).
