For a long time, we have all relied on Catskart's parallax system. I can say today that is no more. I introduce parallaxx, a new way to make parallax layers. With this script, you can have easy, fast, and lagless parallax in your levels. (Note that multiplayer doesn't work tho :()

With this script, you can create as many parallax layers as you wish and have many customization options to have them behave as you want. You can choose between two types of behaviors, parallax and bound. Each behavior offers different options of customization that are explained inside the script.

This is how you make a parallax layer:

call makeLayers(2)  '  >>> Set this number to the number of layers that you want

' To customize a layer, you use this function. It works almost like an NPC flag!
' call setPrllx(LAYER_ID, "NAME", VALUE)
'     LAYER_ID is the layer you are editing.
'     NAME is the parameter you are changing
'     VALUE is the value you want

'My Layer 1
call setPrllx(1, "NPCID", 2)
call setPrllx(1, "WIDTH", 1022)
call setPrllx(1, "HEIGHT", 1200)
call setPrllx(1, "SECTION", 1)
call setPrllx(1, "Z", 0.7)

' My layer 2
call setPrllx(2, "NPCID", 1)
call setPrllx(2, "WIDTH", 1600)
call setPrllx(2, "HEIGHT", 1200)
call setPrllx(2, "TYPEX", bound)
call setPrllx(2, "TYPEY", bound)

call setPrllx(2, "Z", 0.72)

Very important note. If you want a parallax layer that loops, you must set up your image like this:
Let's say this is your background:

Then you must set up your image like this

You must copy-paste the image and dupe it. If you don't do this, then the looping effect won't work. The image must also be at least 800x600 in size for the looping effect to work.

The game crashes when u finish the level or [Esc]
