What can the projectiles do?
-Kill a lot of different enemies
-Get coins (All kind of coins, including Dragon and Star Coins!)
-Detonate SMB2 bombs
-Hit POW blocks
-Can press switches (Time-stop and P-switch)
-Can splash bubbles
-It changes its direction when colliding with a 45° slope
-They die in contact with munchers and saws
-If you hit the SMB3 Bob-omb, it will turn into ignite mode and will bounce a bit
I also added my own color switches (they can be pressed by the player too!). Since this version of the Superball is inspired in Mario Maker, you can only have a single bullet on-screen at time, and as soon as it dies or goes off-screen, you can shot more.
The installation of this power-up is pretty simple!
1. Copy the files into your custom level's graphic folder.
2. Copy the scripts from the "superball" level and put them on your level (make sure the name of the scripts are the same)
3. Go to "Events" > "Level Start" > "Triggers" > "Script" > "Superball (Power-Up)"
4. In Variables tab. create a new variable "canThrow". In there, create also an array named "npcsToKill" (to create an array press "shift" while clicking "add").
And all done! It can sound a bit too much but is simpler to do that you may think.
You can customize the speed and the time to live of the ball at the beginning of "Superball (NPC)" script.
-It doesn't work in SMBX 1.4.4.
-If a syntax error appear (unlikely) make sure you have the latest patch installed.
-Currently it only works for Mario. Support for Luigi is planned, but not for other characters.
-The script uses its own sound effects.
