So, if you want to have custom graphics in your level, do you do it the same way as in SMBX?

Because I put the level, and a folder with the level name, and put graphics into it, but it doesn't seem to work...

Also, I have another problem: How do you make the blocks align to each other properly? Because I can't really find anything to allow the blocks to be aligned to each other.

P.S: Also, I didn't understand the guide.

Graphics: Basically make a level in PGE and save it as whatever you want to call it. Make a folder with the same name as the level and add the graphics you want, just like SMBX. Save your level again (you don't have to but I always do, just to make sure the customization works) and then hit the reload button while in your level's window. (Blue and Green Arrow circle). This reloads the level and activates the custom graphics. Once the level has reloaded itself, you should see your custom graphics appear in the Customs Tabs for the Blocks etc.

Check your copy of PGE for the Grid Button (Next to the Reload Button), click it and make sure it set to on (the button looks like its been clicked on). This turn on the auto-align so that everything lines up properly.

As for the guide, I haven't looked at it, I'll review it later to see if it could be worded better.
