[Fixed] "Bad file format"

Good evening. :)

So, I've been working on a revived project for the last week or so.
The problem is, when I open one of the levels, I get this:

All I have done is replace some graphics while the level is open, then refresh.

The same thing happens in SMBX 1.4.3.

Have I done something wrong? :(
Please help. :SOS:

Do you have that in the SMBX64 format before you got this? Can you send me that file to let me review it myself? (only level file itself, no any custom stuff)

Sure thing. :)
By "custom stuff", do you mean the GFX folder for the level?

ANY extra files and folders (gfx, sounds, configs) except single level file itself.

The level file you just sent is fine and working. That damaged file because you re-saved it with SMBX-38A 1.4.3 (67'th version) I still wasn't updated SMBX38A parser to support some new parameters, but I plan to do that in the nearest time. You can remove some parameters from a file by notepad where PGE Editor has reffered a line number (suggested Notepad++ or Akelpad).

I see. Well, the file had no problem opening in Notepad++.
Line 1 reads "SMBXFile64", but following is all this:

Since it said the only problem was in line 1,
what should I replace it with?

Ok, great. :)
Looking forward to using this. :good:

EDIT: Thanks for that help, Wohlstand. :)
With the help of the new PGE and config, it works just fine. ;-) :good:
