Tactics Engine

As a side project to my game, I am working on this engine based off of Final Fantasy Tactics. I literally just started it today and this is my progress so far.

*clears throat* Final Fantasy Tactics Engine is a game engine based off of one of the best tactical RPG's ever made, 'Final Fantasy Tactics'. This engine is planned to be everything Final Fantasy Tactics was and perhaps more, including full 3D maps, fully usable tactical battle system, parties up to 24 units, a world map with events and locations, boss battles, special events and more! My goal with this project is to fit every little detail Final Fantasy Tactics had into this. Release date is not yet determined, and there is so much to do.

Being a tactical isometric RPG, coding everything will be a bit more difficult than your normal topdown RPG, plus the inclusion of 3D map models, this won't be an easy task. Development just started on September 9th at 3:00AM. Ever since then I have been working non-stop on this engine, making sure everything works as planned, and that there are no errors or bugs to be found.

Attacking is now a thing. As well as HP and damage. (Still lots to do code wise regarding those though.)

Damage is now calculated and has a simple formula.

Added after 2 hours 28 minutes:

HP is displayed and updates after attacking. Only works with one enemy right now. Working on getting it to work with more. (Min of 6 at least)
((The reason the second screenshot image has different HP is because my GIF recorder didn't record the first take correctly.))
