How to build it

And, for test, I made the Editor GUI Skeleton.

In the new editor I want to make the following opportunities:
- Considerably big productivity
- Opportunity to work with several documents
- Easy Editor of a configuration of NPC
- Possibility of simultaneous operation both with level, and with the world map
And many other things...

Sorry I've been gone for a while, but honestly, the new editor is looking really good so far. As Veudekato said, the icons look nice and fresh too.

Now it can render level objects in graphical Window:

You can try to open any LVL Files and test it.

Wohlstand good news. I believe that you will be able to create something! I have a question which is as follows, but in how much time you will have a demo level (try with npc or not)? and how long do you think you realize the editor?

Creating of editor just started. only wohlstand making code of this. so developing od editor maybe long. If you want you can support engine for more short time to develop

Pre-Alpha 0.0.3
- add full NPC config support (Read/Write)
- add BGO renter
- add splash dialog
- saving all positions of toolbars/toolboxes, etc.
- add section selecting (last position saving and restoring on current section change)

This is incredible, I can't believe how quickly you're machining through this. I've d-loaded 0.0.3 and it seems very professional and everything seems to work right, meaning i haven't found any bugs. Also, I've been meaning to ask, but will you have the ability to alter Block and BGO sizes like NPCs eventually?

Hello, temporary i set all blocks and all NPCs as a single images, because I not made dynamic configs for NPCs and blocks:

So glad to hear that SMBX has finally been cracked! I've been waiting for years for a project like this to come out, so when I was this post I was eager to see it. While I am not a professional programmer by any means, I have been a longtime fan of SMBX, and if there is any way I can contribute to the project, I'd be more than happy to! I currently have school to deal with, but I am usually free on weekends, and I would be willing to at least work on stuff in the free time that I have.

New update:
Pre-Alpha 0.0.4

- Added experimental support for backgrounds with support for user's images in world directory (all backgrounds will be tiled)
- Added support for invisible blocks (showing is semi-transparent)
- Added support for see included NPC in block
