My suggestion to weaken the player

I've written about it before, but not much, so I decided to publicize it a bit. :clapping:

I want to write about a very tiring problem with weakening the player. Well, even if he has a mushroom + second power combination (e.g. fire flower, hammer suit, tanooki), even after contact with an enemy, he loses both powers immediately. :(

BENEFITS FROM INTRODUCING A NEW SCALE OF POWER TAKE-OFF:

- New possibilities when building levels that force the player to lose the power-up (allows you to survive two hits instead of one),
- Engine development (new functions are added so that PGE can continue to develop),
- Simplification of the gameplay and greater freedom of beginner players (as well as those more experienced)

I am throwing in a screenshot here, unfortunately in low quality, because I couldn't find a better one. :)

It would be a good idea, as some would not want to follow smbx mechanics 100%.

You're right. However, a lot of people do remakes and remasters as well, so this could help to best represent the game in question. However, I do respect your opinion. :) Each of you has the right to express yourself freely :)
