Hello Wohlstand and other project members,

My name is cramps-man and I want to help you with the coding of the project. The reason I want to help is because I would like to learn from this experience and improve my coding skills.

I mainly got my skills from university. I have not made a big project on my own before, so I think this might be a good starting point for me to get motivated into coding stuff I want to make.

I know most of C++ language features already, but I will need to learn about the Qt library.

First of all: Welcome to the forum cramps-man.

I am the co-developer of this project. We always are happy to see new people interested in our project.
Wohlstand and me are using our XMPP server to communicate and we recommend to get a XMPP client like Pidgin. You can also join the IRC chat #platgenwohl @ irc.freenode.org.

Wohlstand will later reply with any further information.

Like Kevsoft said, we using our xmpp.wohlnet.ru XMPP server. If you never used XMPP, you can get XMPP account on any server to communicate with us. Or you can take XMPP account on our server too (use the "register" feature in your XMPP client).

When you will install Qt, you can open ".pro" files (which a project files for each PGE component: Editor, Engine, GIFs2PNG, PNG2GIFs, LazyFixTool, Playable Character Calibration tool, and common project file "pge.pro" which need to build all PGE components in one run) By Qt creator which includes with Qt.

All builds will be in the ./bin directory, I.e. don't forget to put SDL's DLLs into them to test.

Note: later I will add SDL_ttf which allow to draw TTF-fonts which I will use to print text in engine which necessary for engine GUI (Message boxes, menus, etc.).
