It's a good thing, but before Nintendo was attacked to them, Redigit was tired from SMBX project and was swithed all forces to the Terraria:tb1024 wrote:And this also means Redigit can continue SMBX? I can't imagine something better than that.
Imagine All The...SMBX!
If I understood correctly, we can hold SMBX config pack(s) on our server without any copyright threats, but just in case, we have to check legal purity.Squishy Rex wrote:We've also now got this to look forward to:
PGE is more than a platform for fan-made games, developers of fan-games usually uses Game-Maker for their projects. But a few fan-made games uses own game engines. SMBX - one of games which uses own game engine which written from scratch. PGE also giving freedom for developing of indie-games which aren't a fan-made games, which a created from scratch. A not many projects used SMBX engine for non-Mario games, just a Talkhaus's project, alone which I know. SMBX engine is too limited even if we will use LunaDLL to get all power of memory addressing to call hidden API of them. Because I began works with PGE. And don't forget, PGE is a free project with open source, which is not means free beer !tb1024 wrote:So, this means if PGE becomes a huge fan gaming success, we can get endorsement/sponsorship from Nintendo? Wow.

I think it might be a lack of dopamine in my brain..... it makes it difficult to function and be creative... trying to do something about it.
