Text data for custom effects

I say this by my own experience, I do think custom effects should have a text document (like effect-1.txt) if they were modified with the editor, so that the game can recognise the custom data (such size, frames, if it's using gfx expansion feature, etc.) and apply it automatically instead to have to edit the effect manualy. Why? because:
1.) If you want share a which uses the GFX expansion feature, the user who want use it must edit the effect him/herself manually.
2.) You have to do this process with all the levels (unless you have an episode standlone).
3.) The "Effects" editor it's not very noticeable to see, let's say is kinda "hidden" so never users will confuse a bit.
Probably with custom blocks and backgrounds objects this is not completely neccesary but I believe it would be useful to apply it to the custom effects.
