Also if you're Link with a key, touching the Keyhole does nothing.
If you collect more than 1 star in a single section, SMBX will think that you collected only 1 star. This bug exists in SMBX 1.3 as well.

Know that one as well. I guess the gamecode is only set to allow the player to collect one star per level (doesn`t matter if it is the npc-version which ends the level or not).
In case the level designer wants the player to collect multiply key-objects (per level) then star coins are first choice, I think. I mean you have to "think" about the player as well. Star coins are displayed on the hud, showing you which ones you got and which ones you missed. Don`t get me wrong, I am not gonna lecture you or something, it is quite "easy" to forget sometimes about something. About the keyhole: It is a kind of level exit. Each kind of level exit can only exist once (per level)*. For locked objects which should get unlocked with keys, the level designer is supposed to use normal key-doors or "key-pipes". * Well the code could be adjusted in such a way it would not matter, but would it make sense from a game design aspect anymore? I don`t think so.
Actually, if the game takes place in a hub, then the game will show you how many stars are in a level along with how many stars you collected. Unless two stars are in the same section.
Ok? I did not know about that ... I think.
