Smbx: RotatingFlamethrowers, its cdata and its bug
Posted: 20 Aug 2019, 21:16
This is your script: "RotatingFlamethrowers", I had found it a long time ago but today I remember it and put this observation:
".cdata is the last parameter of the ncreate function"
At the level this parameter is in the script called Inti.
1) When I change .cdata = 0 in the ncreate function:
When the player moves away from the center (of those npc) but without moving away from the flames on the screen, and wait: the red screen will appear.
2) When I leave cdata = 50 without changing:
When the player moves away from the center (of those npc) but without moving away from the flames on the screen the flames will stop and if you come back other flames appear and if I move away I repeat the process and appear more like the video:
In the video the black screen means that the process was repeated several times.
this video is equal (gif)
***Which one is better for you gif or video image?
But the question bothers you: what property does this parameter put to the created npc? well you are the one who decides, a solution for "2)" would be to put the npc created with .cdata = 50 be immortal or ignore disappear off screen// and much better if it is not only for that npc (npc 340).
I believe that cdata is the most undocumented parameter.
