This might be something on my end, but when I test my levels in my episode out from the editor, everything works fine. Testing them out through the actual start game portion causes the text codes to not work. I'm not too sure if this applies to all NPC text codes (including ones in level folders) but it occurs to ones in the episode folder itself.
If you need help with anything related to SMBX38A (that isn’t TeaScript) come ask me. I know quite a bit about how expanded NPC text codes and other stuff works.
