Please, add player gfx-offsets feature back (fixed patch 4)
Posted: 8 Jul 2019, 11:37
Some of my levels are crashing due the removal of the player gfx-offsets feature:
Level 1:
Crash info:

Level 2:
Crash info:

(I have more levels that crashed but since the problem is essentially the same, I think is unnecessary upload them.)
However not all the levels crashes (but it does the most part). Some few levels will still run normally, but will ignore the custom calibration.
Not being able to calibrate player's offsets limits me a lot when making custom power-ups and custom mechanics. Can you please add this feature back? This is the only reason why I can't switch to 1.4.5 yet, and I'd really like to do!
Here are some examples of how my old scripts were ruined by the removal of this feature:
Cat Mario:
Cape Feather:
If you add this feature back, can you please make it generate a text file so others can just copy & paste the sprites and get them working without any additional setup? (like mario-1.txt that contains the info of the calibrated frame, similary to npc-x.txt). I know I'm asking too much and I'm sorry, I'd be more than happy if this feature get added back, without generating additional data.
By the way, thanks for adding arrays back! I really appreciate it.
