I think it's better to put every bug about NPC into one thread, so I'm posting here.
When you're jumping on a Dino Rhino, he turns into a Dino Torch. The problem is when the Dino Torch appears, he's immediadly in his "attack" frame, starting to breath his flame upward when in Super Mario World, he stand still for like 1 second before attacking.
When a Chain Chomp come loose after breaking his chain, gravity don't affect him. He goes straight in a direction and never fall, ignoring holes, slops and obstacles. I don't know if he acts the same way in SMB3, but it would be better if physics affected the Chomp.

Yes. The chain turns slowly red before finally breaking. You can test it by yourself by waiting next to a Chain Chomp in a level you made.

Is it possible to speed up chain breaking for Chain Chomp (like after <10 yanks or such) in SMBX 1.4.3?

I don't think so, but I guess the option can be added for a future update if you make a suggestion to the creator.
Maybe it's even possible to do this with a script. I'm not expert so it's probably better to make a request about it.
