Okay, I have a solution for when your anti-virus tries to delete your SMBX. [THESE INSTRUCTIONS WORK FOR WINDOWS 10, I DON'T KNOW IF THIS EXIST ON OTHER SOFTWARE]
1) Go to Cortana and find the app "Window Defender" 2) Open the program and click on "Exclusions" 3) Exclude the folder where your SMBX is in. Now your antivirus will (hopefully) not delete your SMBX!
Okay, I noticed Windows Defender was completely off, so that wasn't the problem. My antivirus program, Webroot, first recognized it as malicious, then I allowed it. The crash can happen randomly. Oddly, the length of time it takes to crash gets longer and longer each time I run the program. It can also start out on the loading screen (Level Editor) when it crashes.
