Effects appearing in front of NSMB Fake Walls

I've noticed that effects always are in front of blocks labeled as NSMB Fake Walls. For example, shooting fireballs through the fake walls doesn't render its trail behind the fake wall, but instead in front. This can be really frustrating especially when trying to hide secrets like Star Exits or other special collectables.
If you need help with anything related to SMBX38A (that isn’t TeaScript) come ask me. I know quite a bit about how expanded NPC text codes and other stuff works.

normal blocks and blocks labeled as NSMB fake wall should have a fixed z-position (like 0.2 and 0.1 respectively)
the effects should have a z-position editor like the ones in npc and background editors (with each effect with their own z-position)

There isn't a z-position editor for effects at all unfortunately.
