Hey guys I'm back on track with some news! Recently I started the devellopment of the 2nd demo. I predict that it will be finished around late June or early July. The levels, currently available in the 1st demo, are going through major both graphical and design revamp. All of the existing 16bit gfx will be replaced with HD ones, fitting with the environment; a lot of the remaining glitches will be fixed; new custom HUD will also be available; and a lot more! World 4 will also be featured and probably world 5.

Greendan, can you please share the graphics of the backgrounds of the levels? I'm making an episode inspired by the NSMB saga and cannot find any NSMB2 and NSMBU background. I'll credit you obviously and I'll have to edit them anyway to fit the style of my project (quite a bit different in graphic style from yours). In particular I have a desperate need for layer-cake desert background, the snow background (the one with the big trees and the moon in the distance) and the totem pole background.
Thank you very much, I've been following this project since a year and everytime you post an update about it somewhere it is always spectacular. Keep it up, I'm loving it.

- Screenshots of the revamped versions of the levels from Demo 1.1! Since I am almost done polishing the older levels, I will very soon start working on World 4;

Yeah, since it is based on the HD version of the drybones, I thought it will fit in the New Super Mario Bros. Wii-inspired environment. And surprisingly, it really does If a normal player hasn't played the m&l series, they probably wouldn't recognise that the sprites are from another game.
