I tried recreating the game, tho it doesn't have the neighbour.
it is only Alpha 1, so it will end abruptly like in Alpha 1 (the neighbour gets you after opening the basement door, but don't worry, those weren't spoilers, there is Alpha 2 of the game out.). So yeah.
