I can't say for sure, but bugs there were fixed in the gameplay, but new bugs appeared.

Primarily just bug fixes from what I heard. Players finally no long slide on the weighted platform, but some other bugs I've heard are also a bit game breaking. I haven't tested the patch out myself yet, but I will soon.

We haven't found any new feature so far, and won't likely will. Also there's a big bug with patch 31 that disables scripts if you used a "dim" variable in custom NPCs, breaking a lot of scripts. So I suggest stick to patch 30.

I'd say the most important things were changed in patch 31 are player physics (now they are all identical the same as 1.3), Link is way better now, the hammer bros were significantly tuned now (finally) and the propeller suit no longer breaks blocks on hard landing. Patch 31 fixes a good amount of things, but unfortunately it introduced a serious bug which I really hope 38A can fix soon.

What I noticed on path 31:
*The effect class appears.
*Block collisions with slopes improved.
*When an npc has a pending collision the player can no longer slide over it.
*The alive property now totally kills the immortal npc.

Anyone noticed that when Small Mario do groundpound at blocks the sound plays too much?

I really hope 38a will fix the game breaking bugs of patch 31 soon, because some of the things (like the effect class) sound especially interesting. I recommend anyone that see this stay on patch 30 for the time being. If you can't find it, it's always linked on the 38a Discord server.

Is there any update on whether the ice physics will be overhauled or not? I want ice physics that feel nice to play with.

The Gameplay in this Patch 31 is identical to 1.3 (On the ice I don't know, because I never had any problems with it)
