I have a problem in my project where SMBX doesn't save any progress even when you finish a level.

My game doesn't use world map, I don't know how saves work in this case.

As you can see the auto-save is enabled, and I never set sysval(Disablesave) to 1.
I'm using the SMW bar as level goals, but the problem is still here with other npcs even the SMB3 star.
The only way to save is getting a game over, even the pause menu doesn't let you save.

I found a solution about this problem.
Using "Finish game" in the events return to the title screen and save the progress, so I just add "Save and quit" button in my level selection screen. (And I think it's better for the player instead of passing in a level to quit the game ^^)

I tried to do same thing, but the "Save and quit" button doesn't appear in level. Or where should it appear?

sysval(disablesave) = 1
