I think..

Underwater: Have a nice sweet song but it is kinda annoying you can't jump on sushi creatures. And,you need a capable swimming power-up. When using a shoe(all types),you can't swim with it. Only jump. And some levels,do have scrolling section. And your moves will be useless.

Athletic: Have a catchy-full song,it feels like wanted to go everywhere( :biggrin: ). Moving platforms will be a nice challenge. Jumping on it one by one. Imagine that your in a sport competition. What do you guys think about scrolling section?For me,it may be a nice challenge. So,some people can get annoyed if they failed their jump.

Uuugj, i hate underwater levels, you cant swim with a shoe, cant jump on sushi creatures.
Atletic levels are a little bit better, they are challaging and you get to jump on platforms

Beetween the two,I hate Underwater the most,but they aren't bad,either.

Underwater without a weapon you are really helpless because no one can be killed underwater without any weapon.

yeah' if you are mini mario and theres no items or weapons around and there a lot of enemies
then you can't survive.

I like both of them; however, athletic levels are much easier to work with, from a level editing standpoint. As for underwater levels, I'll admit, they're rather hard to make those types of levels fairly fun to play on; thus, the level creator(s) needs to make those types of levels work, like giving them a plethora of power-ups to pick up, or create special mechanics for those who are underwater at that point in time. Being with very few swimming mechanics already, underwater levels can be very tedious to beat, due to them not being "fast" enough, overall. ;-)
