Ahhhh, what a day in the Mushroom Kingdom. Say, these castles are not normal...What are the Buddies doing here? Are those...This isn't...Portals, is it?
INFINITY MARIO:

QUEST TO STABILIZE THE WORLD

The Mushroom Kingdom has been broken. Pieces of each area, mixed with another area. Different eras collide, but stay as seperated as they once were. The Mushroom Desert has been dumped on Dinosaur Island. The world of the Subcon leaked out to other lands. Underground caves and its' walls, visible everywhere. Oceans bordering other oceans. All that is known, is each land is seperate, bordered, but the Buddies have investigated, and Bowser has created transportable castles near his lair. Each castle door is a portal, leading to a whole new world. Which world? Is it familiar? Could it be that Mario has to stop Bowser again? But...The Buddies are protecting the kingdom from any more evil threats by sealing the pipe to Bowser with surpreme Star Power. Mario and Luigi, with the help of Toad, and a surprise appearance from the absolute edge of the 2nd known world, go on a journey so large, so jumbled, it's astounding how much time it would take the Plumbers to 'fix' such a mess Bowser created.
Worlds:
Spoiler
Worlds 1-9 are the primary worlds, with a planned 300 Stars total. All combined planned worlds currently tally at 1000 Stars. :)
World 'A' is the Anything World, where anything might happen.
World 'B' is the Bonus World, where the levels are numerous, but have some special victory dance, such as collecting Red Coins, or clearing challenges.
World 'C' is the Clock World, where the levels are timed, resulting in a great loss of progress should you happen to run out. Complete with side bonuses.
World 'E' is the Extra World, in which resides a number of cameos of other levels, such as Beat Blocks, or adventuring levels that are rather large.
World 'S' is the Special World, called as such because each level is special in their own way, such as a small mission, or bonus quests.
World 'T' is the Trial Levels, created by Bowser himself, to stop you collecting the Stars, and messing up his unstable worlds.
World 'U' is where Bowser resides, or his more powerful minions and, like Mario, self-clones of himself.
A few other worlds exist, but what could they be? It is unknown, but for later, perhaps?

Soon, there will probably be a World 1 Demo, but who am I kidding? You guys should vote on that.
This is mostly going to be a solo endeavor, with bonuses (wait...) and secrets (another wait...) along with a variety of "Hey, why play the same levels over and over again, huh? HUH?" cut out. Unused functions will also be used.
Each World will also have a new feature compared to the last world. This could be an addition to gameplay (like pits or lava) or varieties in NPCs (like the Lakitu in World 3, and Red Coins in the Bonus World).
Beta Testers are currently not needed. You guys, me, Wohlstand, already beta-testing PGE. But if you reallllllllly want developer insides....PM me, and we'll talk.

The Demo will be a part of both PGE and SMBX 2.0. However, I recommend SMBX 2.0 for playing it because PGE isn't complete as of yet, but will be available for ease of not having to convert levels right off the bat. Current Demo Levels Voted: 10

This looks great! Will this be completely SMB1 styled, or will it incorporate other game styles?

It can't be SMB1 styled alone, it is simply too big. But there will be some worlds which will use a single style.
As for beta-testing, I'm not really looking for anyone right this moment, and when I get around to the demo stage, that's when I'll be ready for looking at recommendations. There is one level that you might like to do, and I've been waiting for this one day to start making it, actually. The SMW Expanded should be out today, so I am going to download it and see what kind of graphics are in it. If you would like to know about this particular level, PM me.
I'll even take suggestions as well, so if you want to recommend something for a level or 5, I'm all ears.

Late Delay = Sorry

Wow, even the delay is getting late...
Sorry everyone, but something unexpected happened and I got sucked into the world of anime, food, and PC gaming. However, some good news...
The project is going to hopefully be alive again thanks to something new I discovered about an hour or two ago, and that's the testing with SMBX within PGE. This will allow me to test my levels as if they were complete in a complete engine, so expect this project to be less dead, hopefully before the month is over, if not, before Deadpool says anything on the 12th. :p
Anywho, thanks to that and the level testing in SMBX 2.0, the demo is more likely than ever, so please, vote away, my fellow users, so I may create an appropriate demo for you all to play, and for this project to be more alive. I found that more can be done if more people were interested, and I feel that if there were more than 4matsy's vote, I'd do a bit more than just look at the one actual level I have, and maybe I'd start to do more.

Yes it is, Jim. From what I understand, this 'house' is owned by King Boo, and this is the scariest place in the whole of the Mushroom Kingdom. Seeming as though we can't approach it without enticing the many ghosts living there, we took a faraway picture. Show 'em, Jim.

Sure thing, Jim. But, from what I understand, he's still scared of ghosts himself. Getting close to the house is hard enough, but I'm sure he'll protect his brother by having him stay home for this run.

TO THE FORUM. YES. I WAS LITERALLY GONE. FREAKISHLY GONE. I NEVER QUIT, I JUST LOST A PC SOME MONTHS AGO.
nothing of value was lost, though, so that's good.
ALSO. YEAH. SLACKING A BIT, AREN'T I? I DIDN'T GET MUCH DONE. I BLAME LACK OF MUSIC VARIETY. (now fixed)
