Recovered from SMBX Empire. Made by Squishy Rex
Original Post:

This is a quick and easy set-up to making Parachute Enemies in SMBX. It is different Valtteri's Parachute Enemies in Return to Dinosaur Land, requiring less layers and events. Also the Parachute counterpart can be stomped, but we it reaches the ground it doesn't transform, but simply keeps floating down until it falls off-screen. Here are a few simple steps to make your own Parachute Enemies.

Here's the tutorial:

Please remember you must do this for every individual Parachute Enemy.
"Parachute" refers to the NPC with wearing the parachute.
"Enemy" refers to the NPC that appears after the "Parachute" enemy is defeated.

1. Create 2 Layers
- Parachute
- Enemy

2. Create 1 Event
- Enemy

3. Bomb Event
- Show Layers = Enemy Layer

4. Place Parachute Enemy on Parachute Layer with NPC Event:
-Death = Enemy
- Attach to Layer = Enemy

5. Place the Enemy on the Enemy Layer with NPC Events:
- Attach to Layer = Parachute

6. Hide the Enemy Layer and place the Parachute Enemies over the hidden Enemies.

7. Test Level. When the Parachute Enemies are jumped on they should turn into normal Enemies.
