What do you prefer? SMBX-38A or SMBX 2.0?

2.0 has some Characters, and Blocks, but way low on NPC.

38A has tons of NPC, Power ups, Baby Yoshi, New Features, Etc. But No Characters.

I choose SMBX-38A

I wonder if we can delete the SML2 Goombas and add them sprites in the SMB3 Goomba Sheet. That will take less places on the NPC interface. If you know what I mean...

I have not much experience with LunaLua SMBX 2.0.

So
1.4.3. :mediacenter:

SMBX 1.4.3 of course
SMB 2.0 its simple LunaLua pack with PGE.

not just pack, there are a lot of lua-coded modules are been added and the launcher executable also separated application (source of it can be found in LunaLua's repo). LunaLua is a temporary way and is planned to use PGE Engine as core when I will complete it, Legacy Engine is so uncontrollable and crashful, even we have hacked it in many sides.

Not only SMBX 2.0 has way low on NPC, it's also does not have Power-ups...

By using the power of Lunalua, you'll be able to create a custom powerups. Eh ? I'm not sure with the enemies and creatures. :fool:

Again a SMBX 2.0 vs 1.4.3 discussion.... it will never end. *sigh*

It does

SMBX 2.0 adds additional APIs for more flexibility.

NPCs are added after time. The current beta snapshot doesn't have a lot of additional NPCs indeed.

It does not surprise me that the most of the wohlsoft users here prefer SMBX 1.4.3 while the SMBX.org community prefers SMBX 2.0.

I prefer 38A too, because of it's new features like Power-ups, GFX Expansion, NPCs and scripts :)

I don't mind of having a few character(s) on 38A. Stop complaining about that, shick I just overreact everyone's opinion and the whole world exploded.
TeaScripting is limited to lunalua, true that. So I have no idea how to use it. The document file doesn't tell me the argument and more explaination and my brain exploded.

Teascript is limited compared to LunaLua but to say that the Script Document does not help is overkill.
