But the word "offical" is for SMBX dead anyway. Even SMBX 1.3.0.1 is not the original SMBX 1.3 due to some graphics changes.

I think, you really must try the latest version (not included into 2.0, in official PGE page, even in PGE Laboratory, but, put EXEs and DLLs inside downloaded zip into the SAME place where are was old in SMBX 2.0's folders, don't remove any files) of it, now it has a choice between classic and modern UI view and tells newbie hints how to use it. It just follows the multiselection concept with wide usage of context menu to edit elements without picking away them.

Well, it was not to offend to version 2.0, also I'm not very interested in that version

It's same, but included with 2.0 is updating only with other beta releases, or PGE itself updating more often, but you are able to update it manually (or I'll include the script into 2.0 to easier update it, just by execution of the script)

None of the 2 versions is official, the last official version is 1.3. These are like continuations axes by fanatics.

As SMBX 1.3 is a fangame, why would it be official unless it is one of Nintendo's game/affliates ?

The project I'm working on I can't do in smbx 2.0 so...... I choose 1.4....

I like both.But I preffer Smbx 1.4.2 over the two.

Because I think 38-A player prefered to use 1.4.2 rather than 1.4.3 ?
1.4.2 has a virus when I click on the application thingy (.exe) . While other's 1.4.2 is fine. It's outdated and I'll download the 1.4.3 version. Good thing 1.4.3 didn't have a virus c: . Sadly I can't download/open patch 6. :c

I use 1.4.* and 1.3, but won't use 2.0 because 2.0 is so huge.

Ill.pass because they at both great, the smbx 2.0 editor is kinda confusing but is also very good,
