Princess Shroob, a brilliant and ruthless alien ruler, launches a campaign for universal domination. After conquering nearby planets like Cave, Haunted, and Switch, she sets her sights on the Marioverse. Shroob manipulates Bowser’s children, except Bowser Jr., into joining her cause, builds bases on the Moon and Mars, and forms alliances with villains from newly merged universes. These include Dr. Eggman, Mecha Sonic, Team Rocket, Dr. Zomboss, King Dedede, Meta Knight, and a sinister new creation, Dark Bowser. With their help, Shroob kidnaps Princess Peach, Princess Daisy, Tails, Amy, Shadow, Misty, Brock, Ash’s Pokémon, and nearly every plant from Crazy Dave’s garden.
Rosalina, aware of the impending invasion, warns the Mushroom and Bowser Kingdoms. However, her plea goes unheeded as few believe in the alien threat. As Shroob’s forces strike, chaos unfolds: planets fall, worlds merge, and heroes are captured. Only a handful of allies remain to resist the invasion: Mario, Luigi, Bowser, Bowser Jr., Sonic, Knuckles, Pikachu, Ash, Crazy Dave, Penny the Machine, Sunflower, Peashooter, Yoshi, and Rosalina.
Rosalina reveals a glimmer of hope: the scattered Power Stars, hidden across the Marioverse, Sonicverse, Pokeverse, PvZverse, Kirbyverse, and beyond. The heroes must unite, travel across dimensions, and retrieve the stars to stop Princess Shroob before she conquers everything.
