Yes, PGE is an entire engine. When PGE is done you can make highly customizable configuration packs for your own games.

I made a quick test level. This script is really cool and gave me an idea with char(1).ItemSlot = -19

I like the level's block structure, but they are way too many enemies. I highly recommend you to remove some enemies. Also, they are some incorrect death effects that need to be fixed.

Sorry, there is no way to fix that, as it is a glitch from the engine. Hopefully it will be fixed on 1.4.3.

Do you want the star coins not to save?
Then use dragon coins instead.
