Gears icon is on Windows builds and on executable itself. The SMBX icon is a part of assets, not a part of engine itself.

New 1.3.2.1 release!

Hello! This is a small bugfix release: ⋅ Reworked joysticks support ⋅ Added a workaround for case-sensitive file systems ⋅ The 1up sound now playing multiple times if the player has got more than 1 life (for example, a 3-up moon) ⋅ Fixed a broken work of magic...

Lol, why this topic is located at Spanish section and it's written in English? Gonna to move it into generic SMBX-38A section. Also, I'll unstick it as it's outdated.

New special "Non Grata" rank was been added. This is an alternative to "Banned" to describe that person was banned for a very serious reason and not welcome in the community.

Re: Meet TheXTech: a full working cross-platform port of SMBX engine [1.3.6]

I found a bug concerning Character Barriers in Luigi's Fight for the Mushroom Kingdom: It's a very old vanilla bug. Speaking about SMBX2, after making this fix, they had to provide the compatibility system to re-enable this bug again. Mainly because it's used in some tricky/kaizo levels and it's ve...

Re: Support of Letters

Moved! ;-) Wait, I'm talking about 2 versions of our game. SMBX2 and SMBX by 38A, so why it was moved? :) For SMBX2 that is impossible without of hard lua tricks and libraries (however, I'm not sure is this really possible :comando: ). In 38A it's already possible to print Chinese (in a condition o...

That's very depend on a disk performance (HDD/SSD), but yeah, the load time of SMBX2 is usually longer.

Re: My drawing of a wohlsoft.ru and supermariobrosx.org

Interesting thing :) However: - wohlsoft site uses a completely different translation format, WebLate can't handle it. Until I'll convert my SQLite databases into one of compatible formats... - supermariobrosx.org is not mine, it's maintained on a different server by different people - I asked WebLa...

background glitch That because of a silliness: the mask shouldn't be even used for background pictures which is a mistake, not related to algorithm itself. The bug didn't appeared because the mask algorithm wasn't shown this issue. Update of algorithm just now gave me a fact of REAL issue that wasn...

Re: Meet TheXTech: a full working cross-platform port of SMBX engine [1.3.6]

I learned that the Vanilla Engine makes sprites half-transparent when their m.gif is replaced by a White 1x1 Pixel. A very odd thing, and it wasn't used by GIFs2PNG algorithm that is used everywhere... Anyway, I think, I need to tune GIFs2PNG algorithm to make it work more accurate here. I see this...

No, I meant not a specific INI file, I meant any config pack side INI file which is a global game configuration.

Re: Meet TheXTech: a full working cross-platform port of SMBX engine [1.3.6]

I have a issue with Logitech F710 games pad, when using 1.3.2, changing controls to game pad will soft lock the program, as it doesn't accept Keyboard then, but neither recognize the gamepad, I'm not sure is this the issue with my F710, OS(Win10), or program. As I know the F710 is XInput compatible...
