I believe it is possible to create a continuation of SMBX-38A using the decompiled code adding new blocks, NPCs and power-ups without replacing anything else and even revamping some things. It's easier to recreate 1.4.5 in assembly and C++, than to decompile the original version hahaha Of course yo...

Maybe we could add lua support to 38A I know for a fact that both 38A and 1.3 are written in VB6 so we could add lua support to this version, find a way to make it work with 38A's physics and add special slots for custom NPCs rather than having new NPC in place of another one. That way a new version...

I can't wait to see someone use the decompilation to create a new version with lots of New NPCs and empty slots reserved for custom power ups and custom NPCs.

By the way, I'm wonder if someone has tried to change something and recompiled it for testing purpose. How are we supposed to know? Think of the possibilities we could add a crouching sprite for small mario, finish the seesaw implimentation and add new things including stuff that is already in SMBX...

Do you mean to disable the smoothing of the output sound? That's a question more for MixerX itself and for the GME (that is actually used to play SPC files here). I guess, at the side of the GME there is the actual smoother (I had worked around to stop it smooth the VGM playback, making YM2612 chip...

So about my project, I've decided that the super leaf and boomerang suit will not be included until we get to a point where someone uses the decompilation to polish up 38A and new stuff themselves for now I've accepted that the Cape Feather is going to have to appear in place of the super leaf(yeah ...
