Ah, you wanted disable the lighting. Do this:
Make a new script and add this code:

Code: Select all

sysval(enablelighting) = 0


Make a new event that triggers this script. By last, make something call the event when you want remove the lighting (Did I explain correctly?)

Nope the SDL_Mixer X change isn't the problem (I made two proofs and I'm completely sure the changes of the SDL_Mixer isn't the problem) it's the game itself.

Firstly let me say your 8-bit Mario sprites looks pretty cool.
Are you sure the image (Mario-2) is png format instead gif or any other? maybe it is the problem.
