Re: Happy Valentine's Day, and...

Oh yea... I remember the day I joined the team. Althought the forum might not be used that much, the tools however are used very much. And this makes me very happy. As the creator of LunaLua and co-dev of PGE.

Re: How to check if someone has clicked ok or cancel on a debug box

How to check if someone has clicked ok or cancel on a debug box I wouldn't answer a "How to"-Question with a yes or no. Also, is pcall a global function? pcall is a global lua function: if pcall(windowDebug("LOL")) then -- Success! No error else -- Error! Probably hit "canc...

Re: Checking Game Mode

Not directly, but you can check out this memory address:

Code: Select all

0x00B2D740
(FIELD_WORD)
It should be -1 when it is in battle mode. I've not tested it.

Re: How to check if someone has clicked ok or cancel on a debug box

Generally you can catch that with a pcall. But I wouldn't recommend debug message boxes as a gameplay element.

Re: LunaLua Offical Thread

LunaLua v0.7.3 is finally released. I apologize for the long waiting, but there where a lot of critical changes in this version. Please make sure that your CC12 level is working with this version! So here is the changelog: * Custom images can now be drawn behind SMBX sprites. * Hardcoded images can ...

Re: GIF animations?

You have to press F11 twice. Once you want to start recording and the when you want to end it. But don't record for too long, or else SMBX might crash. I know that filesizes might get huge. This is how GIFs work. I might add better configuration (like how many frames should be collected, or how many...

Yes, changing the size is planned.

About the Layer thing: Be sure that "Layer" is a variable returned by Layer.get or Layer.find.

"Doesn't load"... Do you mean it doesn't get displayed, or that the image object is nil?

The last chance....

0/10 no lua While I was searching through my harddrive today (to make space for MaGL X2), I found an episode (unfinished) I made when I was 11 years old. I don't have any more words for it, but I know I had fun while doing it. Screenshotz: http://wohlsoft.ru/docs/Collected/Episodes/the%20last%20cha...

Re: Changing Yoshi parameters

Yes, it is the right way to assign memory values.

1.) Be sure that you doing that in an LunaLua event (i.e. onLoop), because value can change a lot.
2.) Maybe you have to first print out the value for debug,
