Dang, I literally found a bug I don't think 38A will fix until the next 5 months or so:

How will it be implemented tho? The text box is a .png file (I believe since it is on SMBX2) and shows the box with Blue on it? Maybe 5438A38A should change it transparent?

So if I type a cheat code, it is saved until I type it again. (This is a problem for the Battle Mode Community which is probably only me.) Is this a bug or man made bug? Video Evidence:
