mushroom king, does the npcs would ne the same npc (2 hammer bros by example)
because if no, you could overlap the npc's fireballs with an player'S fireball and make the npc imuned to fire
i know it could be glitchi but it may works

well, it's pretty easy, if you know the VB basis, yes it's not easy for everyone, but it's easy if you nave some scripting knowledge
beside, changing the scripting system would result by changing all the game's system since the scripting's directly linked to the game's program

I think that you should suggest a sprite, it may be usefull to the script creator ans also, i'm not sure that it'S doable with a script... the teascript may be resourcefull, but it can't do everything. i'm not saying this to discourage you, but just to be sure that you won't be disapointed if that h...
