From what I have heard, 1.4.5 has released, but people are saying a lot of scripting features were removed and some NPCs were rushed, so this project will be staying on 1.4.4 for the time being.

Just add it as an exclusion in Windows Defender or just get a different antivirus. This has reportedly been happening to lots of other people but it's not a virus.

LX XZIT posted a Bell Cat-Mario Powerup and a Feather Powerup on his Youtube that he developed. What are the chances that 38a will officially adopt these powerups into his 1.4.5 SMBX game? I don't think those are regular SMB3 sprites (correct me if I'm wrong) so he'd need sprites to use if he wante...

It's a false positive, most antiviruses say it's safe but there are some that detect it as a trojan.

Also, I'm not sure if this was added to the changelog, but you can now collect star coins with koopa shells. I tried it when experimenting with stuff.

....Honestly, what the eff did you do to this game? The editor is so confusing now, most scripts and NPCs are broke, and the game basically breaks almost every level made in 1.4.4. The only good things I have to say about this version would be the world map testing (though the camera is sorta broken...

As of now you can just include the second part of the script and have a Player - Death event that runs it.

Luigi was originally going to be a playable character but later on I decided not to include him due to dialogue issues and the HUD.

It was the SM3DW coin sound effect causing it.

This may sound a bit picky, and I don't know where else to post this, but I need a thwomp to break only one brick at a time when it falls down to try and hit the player.

The built-in tileset editor is so confusing, I don't even know how to put in a block. So could anyone help me by chance?
