[Solved] Background Size Issues

Hello, everyone. Sorry for the long absence, but I've been busy with quite a lot of things. Anyway, I started playing this game again yesterday and wanted to try backgrounds. So I've made this one, but it seems to have some problems. http://i.imgur.com/CWPLsBS.png The background is meant to 640 x 48...

Ok, great. :)
Looking forward to using this. :good:

EDIT: Thanks for that help, Wohlstand. :)
With the help of the new PGE and config, it works just fine. ;-) :good:

Re: [Fixed] "Bad file format"

I see. Well, the file had no problem opening in Notepad++.
Line 1 reads "SMBXFile64", but following is all this:

Since it said the only problem was in line 1,
what should I replace it with?

Wohlstand wrote:Do you have that in the SMBX64 format before you got this? Can you send me that file to let me review it myself? (only level file itself, no any custom stuff)

Sure thing. :)
By "custom stuff", do you mean the GFX folder for the level?

[Fixed] "Bad file format"

Good evening. :) So, I've been working on a revived project for the last week or so. The problem is, when I open one of the levels, I get this: http://i.imgur.com/dDapkyU.png All I have done is replace some graphics while the level is open, then refresh. The same thing happens in SMBX 1.4.3. http://...

Re: Ideas & Suggestions for future versions of PGE

Another cool little touch from SMBX: Effects given off when erasing, such as enemies flying off the screen, debris and puffs of smoke.

Re: Corrupt-A-Wish

Wish granted, the overwhelming amount of Emojis envelop you, transforming you into an Emoji yourself... I wish I could sprite anything! Granted, but someone ends up making a program that steals of that knowledge. I wish I could be really good at every single game. Granted. You grow bored because yo...

All aboard! (Evil chuckle from the front of the train)
This looks great. It's pretty similar to the black one over on SMBX http://www.supermariobrosx.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=1328 Did you make both of these?

Re: Ideas & Suggestions for future versions of PGE

I agree with most of these, but I think the time should be optional on a level. Some people, especially me, like to look around a level, and watch NPC's maneuver around.

Also, it would be cool if we could be able to place objects during gameplay, just like in SMBX. I also find that fun.

Guess Who's Here!

Yup. It's my time to come to the site. I downloaded the PGE about a week or so ago, and it's a major advancement in SMBX level making. I joined this forum because I am awaiting further versions and exciting LunaDLL components with great anticipation. :)
