Because of my SDL Mixer X audio library and VB6 binding for it I gave to 38A who have confirmed that it is better than FModEx that he was used before. Also I have provided HQ sounds and music packs instead of shitty MP3s are was inherited from Redigit's SMBX 1.3 assembly, and we are still cooperate in various questions: I keeping support for audio library and reporting him any bugs I will figure out, and he provides me all specifications for his file formats that allows me support 38A levels and world maps in PGE Project

Good to know. Probably some mp3 musics from SMBX 1.3 might be an ear killing or it's just the musics were in poor quality and some of them are very loud to use I'm assuming.

Hello, I have an error when I try to open the game; this is the message that appears:

The following files must exist in your computer, or the program can not run properly.
DirectX Library(d3dx9_39.dll):Found
The following files must exist in 'c:\users\pc\documents\azael\smbx'.
-SDL2 Mixer(SDL2MixerVB.dll):Found
-Script Editor Control(SciLexer.dll):Found
-FreeImage Library(freeimage.dll):Found
The following files must exist in
'c:\users\pc\documents\azael\smbx\graphics'.
-Game Resource File(resource.tea):Fine

The files are already where they should be according to the box, and still does not work

While I do like most of the updates in 1.4.4, I do have two major complaints.

1: I don't like the remixed music and sound effects. I liked the way they are in 1.4.3.

2: The music and background selection is disorganized. Could you please fix these, and maybe add new ones?

The remixed music is since the version 1.4.2

don't get me wrong I think smbx 38a is has great potential,
but I think that the fact that 38a thinks trying to hurt people's feelings by implementing suggestions behind very hard minigames is fine because they accidently hurt his is feelings by posting suggestions they did not know was already in the game.

treat people how you want to be treated. even if they are still jerks to you as long as your nice to them you can have pride in knowing your a better person.

When Windows plays "Beep" through speaker on key press, that means entire OS has been frozen, not a game.
Your HW specs? (Hit "Flag-key + R" key combo -> "dxdiag" -> Enter)

mmh was strange because after close the game the sounds stopped, but now is all ok
Maybe was a problem of my OS

when i press "down" appears this error and the game crash

i've find some little problems
- The lakitu movements are a bit too fast
- The "collision" with bowser (koopa) statue is not accurate (are a simple square now)
- improvements of starman, with music and 1-up system
- mini mario when die doesn't have the right animation

You first have to place the platform over the corner of the backgroundlines. In the newest patch, you can see in the blue popup window the X- and Y-coordinates, when you hover with the Selection-Cursor over the platform.
In the Advanced Settings of the Platform write down at "Pulley Position" the Y-Coordinate of the platform when it's over (in front of) the corner.
After that you can place the platform whereever you want below this corner.

Little update of audio engine (SDL Mixer X) library!
I did various fixes of playing, fixing of crashes and improved support for new libOPNMIDI MIDI synthesizer based on YM2612 chip emulator

This is an example how to use OPNMIDI synthesizer with your MIDI files:

It can do same loops as ADLMIDI (by loopStart and loopEnd markers, and by 111'th controller)
