Re: PGE Editor - SMBX 38-A : Advanced Settings Bug

As planned rework of editor I will inplement access to all 38A settings of every object. It's bad that 38A doesn't keeps regular behavior of objects that requires to add extra data are must to avoid this. Otherwise, if it's a mistake of 38A file format writer, then easy to fix to give every element ...

Re: [Fixed] Sizable Problems on PGE Editor

Okay, I have fixed this: https://github.com/WohlSoft/PGE-Project/commit/b3306c162179f21afe88f743646a92767cae2bd6 The reason was an "autoscale" flag per every block which is default behavior of PGE Editor for any regular blocks are inheriting size of their sprites. As SMBX-38A changes size ...

Re: [Fixed] Sizable Problems on PGE Editor

Oh, i forgot to say: The sizables keep the height i placed on PGE, but the Width becomes 64. Look at these pics: Спойлер Extra information: When i started creating the level, everything woked fine, the sizables were working. But then, another day, when i resumed working on the level, the sizables d...

Re: [Fixed] Sizable Problems on PGE Editor

That simply explainable: SMBX 38A has max size limit per sizable block which is equal to maximal size of one texture. The trouble doesn't happens on Vanilla Engine and works perfectly on PGE Engine. A tip I can give, please don't to sizeable blocks too big, or there are will be sized down to their m...

Re: Development news thread (Editor 0.3.1.13, Engine 0.3-alpha)

Does this mean that when I google Plateform Game Engine it will open a page called Moondust? "Platform game engine" is too generic title, and it will give lots of other game engines with similar title/subtitle even now. The reason of planned rebranding to give PGE an unique name which giv...

Re: Issue after using PGE Editor

Reason of that because is not implemented yet, but will be in next version. Look: Legacy SMBX64 standard (SMBX 1.3 and related) doesn't supports custom musics per events. New PGE-X standard will have different events architecture (called "action-style" where every event will contain a list...

Re: [Released] Super Mario Bros. X by 38A v. 1.4.4 - Patch 2

All I know is that means I can add Mega Drive music to levels. (I think I could do that already though.) I not meant chiptunes from original games (VGM/VGZ) are already supported. I meant playing any MIDI files (which even can be created by yourself, I sometimes making some MIDI music) played like ...

Re: Signal Segmentation Violation [SIGSEV]

Try to update PGE toolchain. But the questions are: - Which PGE Editor version you are using? (menu Help -> About) Version number, Build date and Revision code - Where you got it? Online installer, ZIP, or as embedded into SMBX2 (which beta)? Looking on your logs, I can tell you are using very old v...

I just wanna tell that Wohlstand is in special thanks in credits which he found SMBX 38-A. (Along with Kevsoft) Because of my SDL Mixer X audio library and VB6 binding for it I gave to 38A who have confirmed that it is better than FModEx that he was used before. Also I have provided HQ sounds and m...

Re: Ideas & Suggestions for future versions of PGE

So, you mean config packs will be able to change the physics, and store the physics logics as some kind of Lua scripts or Javascripts or in some other scripting languages? - Lua scripts is used in the Engine to program NPC-AIs, playable character's mechanics, common level environment (for example, ...
