I can't seem to use custom sound files for my world. It's in the correct format. It's OGG. But for some reason custom sounds are just not working. I tried putting the sound into the world folder... then i tried putting the sound into the level folder... neither works. Are custom sounds not possible...

Awesome stuff.
I always felt that SMBX needed something like that.
Felt weird having the music play all the way through and start over playing the intro of the themes.
I'm really psyched with how this is all turning out.

Oh awesome!
That's how the RPG Maker VX Ace does looping audio.
So each time you enter a map, it plays the intro once, and loops the part you tell to loop.
This is very awesome.
I'm glad to see that added.
It's something SMBX was lacking...
And hearing a song completely loop each time was unbearable.

I'm honestly hoping this engine outdoes SMBX.
I feel like a lot needs to be surpassed.
Not everything SMBX does it good, there are things that SMBX does in specific ways that needs to be different.
Even some things that need done to make the process of creation simpler.
Just my 2 cents

Awesome! I am SO glad you at least have a fade between screens when you warp. I HATE how when you warp in SMBX the screen would just blink tot he next area rather than a fade in and out. Cause it has to do with the engine, plus when you get worked up and excited for something, you just can't help but want to type something about it.

My biggest hope for when this is done and released, is being able to easily customize WAY more than what was previously customizable, but with great ease. Wait, their ARE fade effects?
And i realize SMBX does not have them.

I just thought of something, SMBX does not have transition effects like after warping or entering levels.. any way to add some sort of transitions, even if it's just fade to black and fade from black?

Yay, new graphics added to the front page folks!
A couple replacements for some cliffs from Super Mario Bros 2 one from grassy areas, and one for desert areas!
Also adding some replacements for the super mario world cliffs(i keep calling them cliffs cause i have no idea what else to call them)

Personally i feel that PlatGEnWohl is hard to pronounce... Wohl i have no clue how you pronounce that. I get all tongue tied trying to pronounce it and i feel like i am chewing on my tongue.
